Featured Speakers

Lisa Murphy, the Ooey Gooey Lady, is an early childhood specialist, author, founder and CEO of Ooey Gooey Inc. She is dedicated to the creation of child-centered, hands-on, play-based environments for young children, and she uses hands-on activities, humor and real-life anecdotes to engage her audience. Lisa has been involved with early childhood education for more than 20 years, presenting hundreds of workshops each year to both domestic and international audiences on various topics related to early childhood education.

Dr. Rebecca Isbell is the director of the Center of Excellence in Early Childhood Learning and Development and a professor of early childhood education at East Tennessee State University. She is the co-author of The Inclusive Learning Center Book for Preschool Children with Special Needs, Sensory Integration: A Guide for Preschool Teachers, and The Complete Learning Spaces Book for Infants and Toddlers. She is a frequent keynote speaker and trainer on a wide range of topics, including learning environments, learning centers, literacy development, music/art and drama, creative thinking, and infants/toddlers.

Dr. Myra S. McPherson is a licensed mental health counselor who holds a doctorate in counseling psychology. She has been an adjunct faculty member of the University of South Florida for more than 20 years and in private practice since 1990, specializing in infant/toddler mental health therapeutic interventions for parents of children ages 0-5. Dr. McPherson has authored several manuals and has conducted numerous workshops around the country on the topics of infant/toddler mental health and early behavioral and programming.

Don Monopoli is the lead performer, songwriter and presenter for national children’s recording artists The Learning Station. He has personally published more than 390 children’s songs, and he has produced and recorded children’s music releases for KIDS FIRST at the University of Arkansas, Kimbo Educational, and the Bureau for At-Risk Youth. In his life’s dedication to children’s music, he has presented more than 500 motivational, keynote, feature and workshop presentations across the nation.
