Established in 2003, Seminole State College's Diversity Council ensures the College's student and employee demographics mirror those of Seminole County and Central Florida, and supports an environment in which diverse populations are encouraged to achieve their goals.

Purpose

The purpose of Seminole State College's Diversity Council is to actively foster an inclusive environment where people respect and celebrate differences, life experiences and cultural backgrounds that enhance the educational experiences for our students, employees and community constituents.

Definition

Diversity at Seminole State College is an environment of inclusion, where differences, life experiences and cultural backgrounds are respected and celebrated.
