A.A. Degree Programs

An Associate of Arts (A.A.) program is a two-year course of study that covers the core materials needed to complete the first two years of a four-year bachelor's degree. The A.A. program for each area parallels the State University System's curriculum. The credits that you earn at Seminole State can usually be transferred to a four-year college or university of your choice. The A.A. degree is the credential earned when you have successfully completed your two-year course of study.

Earning an A.A. Degree at Seminole State offers the following benefits:

  • The cost of the A.A. degree program is about half of the cost of the first two years in a four-year college or university.
  • Smaller class sizes allow teachers to assist the student when needed.
  • Seminole State students that transfer into a four-year college or university perform better academically than third year university students.
