It is increasingly common for colleges and universities in the United States to go tobacco-free. As of April 2013, at least 1,159 colleges and universities around the nation had instituted tobacco-free policies, according to Americans for Nonsmokers’ Rights. Locally, this list includes the University of Central Florida and Valencia College.
