WebSupport and Web Development

Seminole State College's Computing and Telecommunication Services Department, in cooperation with its College Relations and Marketing Department, is responsible for the design, development, and hosting of College Web properties and applications. CTS WebSupport also provides Web server storage for faculty members who wish to host their class materials on the Internet.

The College operates multiple file servers that enable its workstations to share in Collegewide network resources, including files, printers and storage. The network provides security by ensuring that users can only access the resources that they have been granted privileges to.

WebSupport Service Requests

To make a WebSupport Service Request:

  • Visit the College's Task Integration Management (TIM) System.
  • Under the main heading What would you like to do today? and the subheading WebSupport, click Request new, or update existing content on the Seminole State website
  • Fill in all required data fields on the form, add any attachments you may have, and click Save Request.

After being reviewed for requirements and complexity, completed service requests will be assigned to the WebSupport work queue and will be processed as quickly as possible. Specifications on Seminole State's Web development standards can be found on the Web Development Guidelines page.
