College Reach-Out Program (CROP)Students in sixth through twelfth grade are invited to join the next generation of college-bound students in the College Reach-Out Program/Club 700. Seminole State College has initiated Club 700, which allows CROP to become the most comprehensive and far-reaching pre-collegiate program possible. CROP/Club 700 welcomes motivated, committed and resourceful students to participate in programming that is both educational and free! Participants benefit by receiving an opportunity to get a leg-up on the college-bound competition. Throughout the academic year, CROP/Club 700 students also have opportunities to interact with peers, build on skills taught in Seminole County public schools and acquire new skills and knowledge that will benefit them in their pursuit of a postsecondary education. What Does CROP Offer?There are several programs available for students to gain academic and personal development:
How Much Does It Cost to Participate?The program services are free for all students; however, minimal costs may be associated with the college tours and field trips. All costs, if any, will be kept to a minimum. How Can I Get Involved?Due to statewide budget cuts, Seminole State is no longer accepting new students for the CROP/Club 700 Program. |
