Did you know...The Academic Advising and Counseling Department plays an integral part in the empowerment of students to successfully achieve their educational goals.
After completing 30 and 45 credit hours, you should meet with an advisor to request a degree audit. During the meeting, the advisor will review the classes you have completed and verify the remaining courses for your major. Additional graduation requirements will also be discussed.
Contact the university you plan to transfer to early in your college career to learn about the requirements for the major you plan to pursue. Requirements may include, but are not limited to: specific courses, program application deadlines, GPA, limited access programs and foreign language. Do not wait until your final term at Seminole State to apply to a transfer institution.
You must apply for graduation from Seminole State during the term in which you are enrolled in the final classes for your major. To begin the graduation application process, visit the Academic Advising and Counseling Department on any Seminole State campus after the current term add/drop period. An advisor will provide you with a degree audit and the necessary graduation paperwork. It is your responsibility to submit a diploma application prior to the posted deadline for the term.
