 College-Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST)As of July 1, 2009, the CLAST is no longer required to earn an Associate in Arts degree from Florida's public institutions. However, students must still prove college-level proficiency in communication and mathematics by meeting the College-Level Academic Skills (CLAS) requirement. Students who cannot meet the CLAS requirement for any reason (disability, language barrier, etc.) should request a CLAS waiver form from their academic advisor or the Assessment and Testing Office.
