Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals (ICCP)

Founded in 1973, the Institute for Certification of Computing Professionals (ICCP) is the world's leading certification body for information technology (IT) professionals. The IT industry acknowledges ICCP as the most comprehensive source for professional certifications.

The Certified Computing Professional (CCP) exams, administered by ICCP, demand a high standard of IT competence. Those who pass the exams and earn certification have demonstrated the knowledge and abilities of a highly-skilled computing professional.

Twenty-five computing societies direct ICCP. They are the industry organizations and corporations that establish professional certification standards and actively promote them to the worldwide IT industry.

ICCP offers two professional designations: CCP and Certified Computing Associate (CCA). These certifications help establish a uniform standard for computer knowledge and expertise.

CCP certification extends beyond computing knowledge and skills. To obtain certification, you must sign a document stating that you agree to and will abide by ICCP's Code of Ethics, Conduct and Good Practice. By earning CCP certification, you are deemed a skilled and ethical computer professional.
