Eighth Annual Early Learning Conference: Feb. 10-11, 2012

  • Early Learning ConferenceWhen: Friday Feb. 10, from 5:30-6:30 p.m. and 7-8 p.m. (family concert); and Saturday, Feb. 11, from 8 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
  • Registration: Registration will be available online to all Central Florida childcare providers beginning Tuesday, Nov. 15. The registration fee is $30 per participant and includes Friday and Saturday sessions.
  • Theme: "Putting It All Together: Connecting Standards to Our Practice"

Featured Speakers

  • Dr. Jean Feldman: Author of several educational books and recordings, including "Survival Guide for Preschool Teachers" and "Sing to Learn." Dr. Jean's inspirational presentations make teaching and learning fun.
  • Gaye Gronlund: Author of six books, designer of program and authentic assessment models, and expert in early learning standards.
  • Gretchen Kinnell: Well-known toddler/twos presenter with expertise in potty training and preventing biting in childcare settings.

The conference includes a family concert, led by Dr. Jean, on Friday, Feb. 10, from 7-8 p.m.
