EAP 1620 Section 2751 - EAP Advanced Reading

This course is an advanced college reading class for non-native speakers of English. Emphasis is placed on developing and practicing critical thinking skills, evaluating argument (bias) of a passage and drawing inferences and conclusions.

Prerequisite: EAP 1520 with a grade of "C" or higher or equivalent proficiency level.

Online class. Computer & Internet access required. Log in to Sakai as soon as the term begins to access your course: http://dl.seminolestate.edu/portal Students who do not log into their course by the end of add/drop may be withdrawn from the class. Simply logging in to an online class does not count as attendance. Students must engage in an academically related activity.
Mandatory orientation on Thursday, January 16 from 4:30-5:30pm or Friday, January 17 from 10:00-11:00am or Tuesday, January 21 from 4:30-5:30pm in building B, room 233 - Sanford/Lake Mary campus.
