HIM 2920 - Medical Transcription Seminar

Industry trends and career options will be covered in this course. Professional networking will be discussed and practiced. The work environment industry trends and career options will be covered. Professional networking will be discussed and practiced. The work environment dynamics and professional development opportunities will be explored. During the semester, attendance is required at a minimum of two meetings of the Central Florida Chapter of the American Association for Medical Transcription. Certification readiness will be addressed.

Prerequisite: HIM 2034. Corequisite: HIM 2652.
