HIM 1475 - Medical Style and Grammar

This course covers the study, synthesis and application of the rules of English language and medical transcription style as reflected by the Book of Style of the American Association for Medical Transcription (AAMT) and the Manual of Style of the American Medical Association. Application of rules will be demonstrated with satisfactory completion of a minimum of three writing assignments.

Prerequisite: HSC 1531. Prerequisite or Corequisite: HIM 1031.
