CAP 2023 - Game Programming I

This course will provide basic knowledge of the various aspects of the game industry. Topics covered include types of game development careers, game development and design processes, marketing themes, copyright laws, game company structures, various types of programming languages used by different types of games and the impact of video games on modern society. Students will learn general programming concepts and common game development environments. Lab fee required.

Prerequisite: COP 1000 with a grade of "C" or higher.
