This course encompasses classroom and lab study of advanced skills used in service practices of the plumbing industry. Areas of study include plumbing-related science knowledge and skills, information technology tools used in the plumbing industry, roof, floor and area drains, installing and testing water supply piping and the installation of fixtures, valves and faucets. Students gain an introduction to electricity, the installation of water heaters, fuel gas systems and the servicing of fixtures, valves and faucets.
Prerequisite: BCV 0511C.
