The primary purpose of career fairs is to help Seminole State students explore different career paths and to provide them with the latest information about career options and related educational programs. Organizations may use these events to recruit employees and/or interns.

This event is for individuals who want to build networking skills. Attending this workshop would be beneficial since networking is one of the most effective ways to market yourself not only in the job field but also in college clubs as well.
Employer Networking Event | April 11, 2013 | noon-3 p.m. | College Center
Conversations between students and employers can be uneasy at times. This event will make the process easier. During this workshop, students will learn how to address employers; how to market themselves; what topics they should discuss; and what questions to ask. It will also aid in building relationships with employers in your industry.
