Chris Wright, Professor

Chris Wright is an accounting professor at Seminole State College, primarily on the Oviedo Campus, and an active State of Florida Certified Public Accountant.

After she received a Bachelor of Science in marketing from Florida State University, Wright earned a master's in accounting from the University of Central Florida and went to work for a small local accounting firm. She later worked for seven years as a branch manager at one of the nation's largest banking institutions, which gave her financial and operational experience to complement her accounting knowledge.

Nearly 10 years later, Wright started her own business and co-founded a nationally branded company -- for which, she still participates in the board of directors as a consultant.

Upon accomplishing her personal business goals, Wright wanted to share her extensive  knowledge and business experience with students at Seminole State, where she started her teaching career as an adjunct accounting professor.
