Cristina Shams, Adjunct Professor

Cristina Shams is an adjunct professor for the Department of Business and Legal Studies at Seminole State College. Early in her 15-year career, Shams focused her business talents in the software development industry, holding various management titles, as well as being named the director of customer services and quality assurance for a large development company.

Today, she is the vice president of business development for a Maitland-based real estate development firm, overseeing its sales and marketing efforts, and a licensed real estate broker in the State of Florida, where she manages several commercial real estate investment properties for other business owners.

Shams received her Associate in Arts from Valencia Community College and earned a Bachelor of Science in business administration, with an emphasis in finance, and a master's in business administration from the University of Central Florida.

In addition to her capacity as an Seminole State instructor, Shams spends her time with her husband and daughter, traveling and enjoying the outdoors.
