Scott B. L'Heureux, Adjunct Professor

Scott L'Heureux is the president and chief operating officer for EnableSoft, a leading provider of business efficiency software, and is responsible for managing the operational and strategic business development activities for the company.

Prior to joining EnableSoft, L'Heureux was responsible for directing and executing all leadership and operational aspects as the CEO of Surgical Information Systems (SIS), a privately owned software and services company with the mission of improving the quality, organization, delivery and outcomes of surgical patient care through healthcare technology. In this capacity, he served on the company's domestic board of directors, as well as the board of directors for its branch in India. He also chaired its executive advisory board.

L'Heureux  has been a recognized leader in shaping healthcare business and technology for more than 15 years and has held a variety of management roles with McKesson, IBAX Healthcare (a subsidiary of IBM and Baxter) and Pharmacia Upjohn (now Pfizer) Pharmaceuticals. His leadership success in the healthcare industry can be attributed to his dedication to creating products and services that directly impact the quality of patient care, as well as his ability to recognize and nurture talent across an organization to drive outstanding results.

L'Heureux holds bachelor's and master's degrees in finance and management, respectively. He has also served as a consultant on numerous external boards and advisory committees, and is a past member of the American College of Healthcare Executives, the Healthcare Information Management Systems Society, the Healthcare Financial Management Association, the AORN Foundation and many other professional organizations.

A native Central Floridian, L'Heureux lives in Winter Springs with his wife and two children. His community service endeavors include working with and fundraising for charitable organizations like Habitat for Humanity, the American Stroke Association, the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, the Rotary Club, the Catholic Diocese of Central Florida and the Economic Development Commission of Mid-Florida.

Additionally, he coaches youth sports teams, serves as a dividend in Seminole County, is a competitive runner and triathlete, and enjoys traveling with his family.
