Women's Golf Head Coach, Christa Teno
After a successful first season at Seminole State, Teno was named the 2008 Southeast Coach of the Year by the Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) Teaching and Club Professional membership. In 2009, she led the Raiders to a third-place finish in the National Junior College Athletic Association's (NJCAA) National Golf Championship. Teno has 34 years of golf experience and 20 years of teaching experience. She played four years on the LPGA Tour and won the Futures and Gold Coast tours multiple times. Teno is also a Class A member of the LPGA Teaching Division and is involved in the LPGA's education process as a national evaluator. Teno's career highlights include:
Teno holds a bachelor's degree in interpersonal and public communication from North Texas State University. She officially assumed her coaching responsibilities at Seminole State on March 1, 2007. |
