Raider Women's Golf
Teno, a former LPGA Tour player and the 2008 Southeast Coach of the Year, is committed to building on the team's early successes and establishing the Lady Raiders as a national powerhouse. The team participates in tournaments throughout the state but calls five Central Florida courses home: Timacuan, Mayfair, Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes, Magnolia Plantation and Walkabout. Seminole State is a member of the NJCAA Division I and the Florida Community College Activities Association's Mid-Florida Conference. Scholarships for student-athletes, including tuition, books and — in some cases — housing, are available. Recent Women's Golf NewsSeminole State ranked fifth in NJCAA poll (Nov. 16, 2009) The ranking, released Oct. 8, is based on the team's first tournament appearance of the season. Read more.
