The Raider women's golf program was established in 2007 under the leadership of Head Coach Christa Teno. While only in its fifth season at Seminole State, the team has already made a big impression, finishing third in the nation in 2009, sixth in 2010 and fourth in 2011.
Teno, a former LPGA Tour player and a member of the Windsor/Essex County Sports Hall of Fame, is committed to building on the team's early successes and establishing the Lady Raiders as a national powerhouse.
The team participates in tournaments around the state but calls six Central Florida courses home: Timacuan, Mayfair, Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes, Magnolia Plantation, Walkabout and Heathrow.
Seminole State is a Region VIII member of the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA).
Scholarships for student-athletes, including tuition, books and — in some cases — housing, are available.
