Raider Women's Golf

Seminole State's women's golf teamThe Raider women's golf program was established in 2007 under the leadership of Head Coach Christa Teno. While in only its third season at Seminole State, the team has already made a big impression, finishing third in the National Junior College Athletic Association's (NJCAA) National Golf Championship in 2009.

Teno, a former LPGA Tour player and the 2008 Southeast Coach of the Year, is committed to building on the team's early successes and establishing the Lady Raiders as a national powerhouse.

The team participates in tournaments throughout the state but calls five Central Florida courses home: Timacuan, Mayfair, Legacy Club at Alaqua Lakes, Magnolia Plantation and Walkabout

Seminole State is a member of the NJCAA Division I and the Florida Community College Activities Association's Mid-Florida Conference.

Scholarships for student-athletes, including tuition, books and — in some cases — housing, are available.
