Strength Training Center Membership Policies

• Membership to Seminole State's Sanford/Lake Mary Campus Fitness, Sports and Intramural facilities requires a signed consent agreement for participation. A consent form can be obtained by bringing proof of Seminole State employment or course enrollment to the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus Athletics Office, located in the Health building (H101). A membership card is required each term for entry into Fitness, Sports and Intramural facilities.
• Membership to the Fitness, Sports and Intramural facilities is currently restricted to Seminole State students, faculty and staff.
• The Athletics Department and its staff reserve the right to refuse and/or revoke membership to any person at any time without prior written, announced or otherwise advertised notice.

Membership Costs and Requirements

Fitness, Sports and Intramural facilities membership is free to Seminole State students, faculty and staff. To obtain and maintain membership, students must:

• Be enrolled in classes for the current term
• Present a valid Seminole State student ID card
• Renew their membership each semester
• Submit a signed consent form once per academic year 
  • Students under the age of 18 should fill out the consent form for minors.
  • Students over the age of 18 should fill out the consent form for adults.

Faculty and staff must:

• Be an active Seminole State employee
• Submit a signed consent form once per document revision

Friends and Family

Currently, Seminole State cannot extend the use of its Fitness, Sports and Intramural facilities to the friends or family members of Seminole State students, faculty or staff.

Summer 2013 (Beginning May 20)

All other times are reserved for classes and Raider Athletics use.

The Fitness, Sports and Intramural facilities reserve the right to change or close open access hours at any time without prior notice. These closures may include, but are not limited to: room maintenance, supervision absences or special events being hosted in the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus Health building (graduation ceremonies, tournaments, etc.).
