Raiders Serve the CommunityRaider athletes are committed to serving the local community. When not in the classroom or facing off against athletic opponents, the players on Seminole State's three sports teams focus on giving back to the College and the surrounding area. "Our goal is to give back in everything we do," Assistant Athletic Director Mike Nicholson says. "We are always front and center on the field or course, but it is equally important to have a behind-the-scenes presence in the community." Seminole State's athletic teams have participated in several outreach projects in recent years, including park cleanups, sports clinics, breast cancer-awareness initiatives and family-assistance programs.
