Summer Youth Clinic

The Seminole State baseball team is proud and excited to announce the Summer Youth Clinic for ages 6-14 this summer. This clinic is geared toward helping the local youth in all aspects of baseball. The sessions will be run just like we run practice here at Seminole State. The clinic will begin June 2 and run Monday-Thursday every other week June through August.

Setup

This clinic is geared to help refine the skills of participants, and it is scheduled so that it will not interfere with tournaments and games played during weekends.

Dates Offered

Sessions will be held Monday-Thursday during the following weeks:

  • June 9-13
  • June 30-July 3
  • July 14-17
  • July 28-31
  • Aug. 4-7

Daily Activities

Each day will consist of practice exercises, followed by a live scrimmage. Refer to the charts below for daily schedules:

Ages 6-10
Monday/Wednesday 8-10 a.m. Batting practice and hitting drills
10:30 a.m.-noon Simulated game
Tuesday/Thursday 8-10 a.m. Defensive drills
10:30 a.m.-noon Simulated game

Ages 11-14
Monday/Wednesday 12:30-2:30 p.m. Batting practice and hitting drills
3-4:30 p.m. Simulated game
Tuesday/Thursday 12:30-2:30 p.m. Defensive drills
3-4:30 p.m. Simulated game

Cost

Players may participate in the Summer Youth Clinic on a per-day, per-week or per-month basis. The cost for each participation length is:

  • $50 per day
  • $160 per week
  • $300 per two weeks

All clinic attendees will be provided with complimentary Gatorade. Each participant will receive moisture-wicking athletic shirt featuring the Seminole State Athletics logo and the participant's choice of number:

To register for the Summer Youth Clinic, fill out the registration form and deliver it, along with the required payment, to:

You can also deliver the materials by hand during normal business hours to the Athletics Office in room H-101 on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus. Please make checks payable to Seminole State.
