Baseball releases fall schedule

(Sept. 3, 2008) SCC baseball has released its fall schedule. The season opens with a 10 a.m. game against the Brevard Stars on Saturday, Sept. 13, at Jack Pantelias Field on the Sanford/Lake Mary Campus. SCC names new head baseball coach

(July 17, 2008) John Scarpino, SCC's director of athletics, announced Thursday that Chris Hayes, a former assistant coach and recruiting coordinator at Jacksonville University, will begin as head coach on Monday, July 21. Hayes is known as one of the top young assistants and recruiters in the Southeast, bringing tremendous passion and work ethic to his profession. Read more.

Nicholson named assistant athletics director

(June 5, 2008) Head Baseball Coach Mike Nicholson has been named the College's assistant director of athletics. Nicholson, who led the Raiders to a Mid-Florida Conference title this year, will step down on July 1 as head coach. A search will begin immediately to select his replacement, said John Scarpino, SCC's director of athletics. Read more.
