Seminole State's instrumental music programs provide a comprehensive education in the fundamentals of:

  • Music
  • Academics
  • Performance

At Seminole State, students and members of the community are given the opportunity to perform in skilled instrumental ensembles, such as our:

Jazz Band

Seminole State's Jazz Band:

  • Is open to Seminole State students and community members;
  • Plays both traditional and contemporary jazz; and
  • The band performs several times a year.

Symphonic Band

Seminole State's Symphonic Band:

  • Is open to students and community members;
  • Has been performing for more than 36 years; and
  • Performs several concerts a year, with an extensive repertoire that spans the entire range of symphonic band music.
