Art Scholarships

Students in the ceramics lab

Seminole State's Art Program does more than teach art. We're here to help talented artists begin a lifetime of creation and self-expression. To help our most promising students, we offer an Art Scholarship Program.

To be considered for a scholarship, you must:

  • Submit a portfolio for review; and
  • Be working toward achieving an A.A. degree in art.

Your portfolio should include:

  • Six works of art or slides;
  • A scholarship application form with a statement of your artistic goals; and
  • A professional presentation.

Scholarships are awarded for spring, summer and fall semesters. Portfolios are reviewed in early March and mid-October for the following semester. If you submit a portfolio, your work will be returned the following day.
