Seminole State College's Architectural Design and Building Construction Technology Program trains students to work, adhering to the highest construction standards and practices, with architects and construction engineers in the design and construction of homes and commercial structures. Graduates of this program help architects bring their designs to life.

As trained members of a production team, students assist with the planning and management of every detail in the building construction process. Students' responsibilities will vary according to the industry they work for and the type of work performed.

This program gives students a diverse educational foundation that includes the practical application of engineering design principles in addition to traditional classroom instruction. This integrated learning approach prepares students with the skills they need to begin a career immediately or continue studying at the university level.
