Elluminate Online Tutoring Sessions for Fundamentals of Writing Students

Elluminate online sessions provide quality review of essential college-prep writing skills for Seminole State's Fundamentals of Writing I and II students.

All virtual tutoring sessions will be recorded for use in the future on this Web page, and by attending a session, a student gives permission for such recording and use on this Web page. Recorded sessions may then be used as review for Seminole State's Fundamentals of Writing I and II students.

Preparation to Attend an Elluminate Session

1. Students must have access to a computer with Internet access for each session.
2. Students should have headphones or speakers turned on to hear each session, since the online tutor will be speaking to students who attend.
3. Students should plan to log into the "virtual classroom" for each session at least 15 minutes before the session is set to begin. Early arrival is necessary to ensure the student's computer has the appropriate software and hardware to participate in the session. No download of an actual program should be necessary, but Java controls must be enabled to download presentations and participate during a live session.
4. Links to live classroom sessions will not be active until approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled session.
