Campus Health and Safety

With the flu season in full swing, the College’s Emergency Response Team (ERT) reminds employees to follow the guidance of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) which urges all Floridians to get vaccinated and closely monitor their health throughout this flu season. Here at Seminole State, our maintenance staff has been wiping every computer keyboard and mouse with anti-microbial wipes in all computer classrooms at least once a day. Additionally, the CDC’s primary directive for avoiding the flu is to wash hands frequently to minimize the spreading of germs. Also, the ERT reminds all employees that additional “Campus Safety for Employees” sessions are scheduled for this spring. All employees should participate in one of these “Active Shooter” training sessions. You may sign up for these sessions via the Learning Connection menu on the Sign Me Up Calendar via MySeminoleState.
