Annual Benefits Enrollment It’s time once again for all full-time employees to sign up for benefits coverage for the upcoming calendar year. Now through Oct. 31, full-time employees have the opportunity to enroll or make changes to current insurance coverage. Please enroll online via eBenefits – a very easy, paperless process. Just visit MySeminoleState and then click on "Benefits Open Enrollment" on the far right hand side of the web page, under the heading "Personal Information." Again in 2013, Seminole State College will continue to pay 100 percent of full-time employees’ coverage for health, dental and basic life insurance premiums. There have been no rate increases for 2013, and there will be a slight reduction in life insurance rates. Health Fairs For Seminole State Employees College employees can help Seminole State qualify for up to $10,000 by participating in our 2012 health fairs. If 50 percent or more of our full-time employees enrolled in the PPO and HMO insurance plans complete the Personal Health Assessment (PHA) during this month’s Health Fairs, then the College could receive up to $10,000 from our health care consortium to be used for an employee health and wellness initiative, such as the new Wellness Center. The PHA must be completed during the Health Fairs scheduled for the following dates and times:
The PHA includes free employee health screenings for cholesterol, diabetes, blood pressure, etc., with immediate results. The PHA will also provide tips on health-related topics such as nutrition, diet and fitness. This year, Florida Blue is requiring employees to pre-register. Please pre-register here: https://pickatime.com/client?ven=11602545. Pick the time and campus most convenient for you. If you have questions, please contact the HR Benefits Office at ext. 2387 or 2640 and ask for Britt, Barbara or Lynette.
